Preservation

Hello,

And greetings of the post-season to you!

Let's get straight into it - our first release for the year should figure in your brain til at least this time next year. And then some. "River Water" is the second from Aaron Martin, who since releasing his debut "Almond" in late 2006 has gone on to collaborate with many, including Machinefabriek. It's out Janaury 28 internationally; February 2 in Australia.

Boomkat has already described "River Water" as 'one of the most eminently listenable electroacoustic albums you're likely to encounter'. Read more here.

There's also a recent lengthy feature written by Melbourne maestro of penmanship, Mr. Dan Rule. Read it here.

It's a truly beautiful work running deep with passion and esoteric soul. Hear a track here.

Aaron is also heavily involved in another of Preservation's 2008 releases, a more pop-oriented project under the name of Tan or Boil. Look out for that alongside releases from Christian Kiefer and Tom Carter (covering American Public Domain songs) as well as the Italian dream team of Valerio Cosi and Fabio Orsi. More things later!

Hope you'll take some time with "River Water" in the meantime.

Thanks.
